DOC
- Will act as a spokesman and/or representative of UCYSL/UC Premier.
- Work directly with the members of UCYSL/UC Premier's Board of Directors.
- Develop relationships with local college soccer programs and coaches for the benefit of
- UCYSL/UC Premier.
- Develop relationships with coaches from other clubs for the benefit of UCYSL/UC
- Premier.
- Provide professional opinion and advice to UC Premier regarding how best to position
- the club with regards to various organizations: CYSA-North and US Club Soccer.
- Review and oversee Director of Contracts, salary compensation, revenue and expenses.
- Serve as an ombudsman for coaches, families, and players as necessary.
- Be available to handle any major conflict resolution. The process should follow the
- league wide issue resolution process or an appropriate alternative.
- Oversight of the process to collect, analyze and manage feedback from parents and
- coaches.
- Serve as communication link to competitive coaches and team managers.
- Advice and counsel coaches on dealing with any team issues where help is needed.
- Assist in registration and registration issue resolution.
- Provides updates to Secretary for the team's handbook annually.
- Chair competitive coach meetings.
- Provides update to Technology Director for the UCYSL/UC Premier website as needed.
- Recruit coaches and submit to board for approval and appointments.
- Provide orientation for new competitive coaches.
- Resolve coach/player/parent issues.
- Assist in game and field scheduling.
- Attend monthly Board meetings.
Recreational Director
- Oversee Recreational program.
- Oversee Recreational budget.
- Help distribute trophies.
- Oversee the recreational tournaments/jamborees.
- Organize camps for recreational program.
- Provide program communication to Board, coaches, and team parents.
- Recruit Coaches.
- Assist in registration and registration issue resolution.
- Resolve coach/player/parent issues.
- Assist in game and field scheduling.
Director of Community Outreach and Sponsorships
- Sets annual sponsorship goal.
- Develop relationships with local businesses for potential sponsorship opportunities.
- Develop and implement a sponsorship program.
- Help manage volunteers.
- Recruit help from club to fill vacant positions.
- Work with Director of Technology to promote community partners and sponsors.
- Attend monthly Board meetings.
Referee Director
- Supervise the League referee program.
- Represent league and report on issues regarding referee training, referee training,
- referee availability, game coverage, etc.
- Appoint and chair the league referee management committee (assignors, instructors,
- mentors and youth program)
- Recruit and train referees. Facilitate Referee Licensing classes.
- Encourage and promote growth in the number and improvement in quality of the
- league referee pool (referee retention). Encourage referees to upgrade.
- Coordinate the scheduling of referees to assure appropriate game coverage.
- Represent league at District referee meetings.
- Supervise the timely compensation of referees and maintenance of the league referee
- website with the Technology Director.
- Provide methods to recognize good performance.
- Communicate game problems to the tournament directors and UCYSL/UC Premier
- Board as appropriate in a timely manner.
- Provide referee liaison to tournament committees in order to coordinate referee
- scheduling at tournament events.
- Communicate changes to the laws of the game to the UCYSL/UC Premier membership.
- Attend monthly scheduled Board meetings.
Fundraising Director
- Set annual fundraising goal for the league.
- Coordinate fundraising activities for competitive and recreational teams.
- Schedules photographer to setup times and locations for club pictures.
- Work with teams to schedule club pictures.
- Serve as a liaison between Board and fundraising committee.
- Coordinate activities of fundraising volunteers.
- Issue quarterly fundraising reports to the Board.
- Serve as a liaison between the league and all fundraising vendors.
- Manage fundraising committee.
- Attend monthly scheduled Board meeting and provide monthly report.
